GAS-RES was established in 2012 in Banja Luka, Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by the Government of Republika Srpska. From the beginning, the company has been engaged in the development of gas projects in the territory of Republika Srpska as a central point of unification of all activities of the gas sector and in that sense was an operational support to the Government of Republika Srpska in the development of the gas sector.
Since 2015, the company has expanded its activities to the commercial activity of trading and supply of natural gas, according to the harmonization of gas legislation of the Republic of Srpska with European energy packages, and the separation of activities in the gas sector;
